GummySearch alternative

GummySearch closed its doors. Your Reddit monitoring doesn't have to stop.

GummySearch stopped accepting new customers in November 2025 after Reddit API licensing fell through. BeamSonar picks up the job its users relied on every day: watching Reddit for the conversations that matter to your product and delivering them, scored and linked, to your inbox — built on public content, not the Reddit API.

What carries over — and what's different

If you used GummySearch to catch buying-intent conversations, brand mentions, and “alternative to X” threads, BeamSonar does that job with less setup: paste your website URL and the AI builds your keywords, competitor list, and target subreddits automatically, then keeps sweeping around the clock.

If you mainly used the audience-research side — subscriber growth charts, theme exploration — that is not what BeamSonar optimizes for. Our focus is the monitoring loop: never miss a relevant thread, and only get pinged when one is worth replying to.

Common questions

What happened to GummySearch?

GummySearch announced in November 2025 that it could not reach an agreement aligned with Reddit’s Data API usage policies. It stopped accepting new signups and renewals on November 30, 2025, and shuts down fully in December 2026 — leaving its users looking for a replacement.

Does BeamSonar replace GummySearch?

For monitoring and lead-finding — the part most people used daily — yes. BeamSonar continuously sweeps Reddit and Hacker News, scores every thread 0-100 for relevance and buying intent, and delivers email digests plus a dashboard to track leads. Deep audience-research features (subscriber analytics, theme browsing) are not the focus.

Will BeamSonar have the same Reddit API problem?

BeamSonar was deliberately built without the Reddit API. It reads publicly available content — RSS feeds and public pages, the same things a browser loads — and never posts or acts on Reddit on your behalf.

How much does BeamSonar cost?

It is free while in beta, including daily digests. At launch: a free plan (weekly digest, top 10 threads), and paid plans from $29/month with daily digests, competitor tracking, and more monitors.
